Course Overview:

Sign up your child for our 3-week intensive, self-paced course in Game Development. This bootcamp is designed to introduce kids to hands-on concepts and practical results in game development.

Outcomes:

• Learn the Design Process: Your child will delve into the step-by-step process that professional computer scientists use to build games and apps. From brainstorming and conceptualizing to prototyping and refining, kids will understand how a game idea evolves into a fully playable game. They’ll learn about key elements like game mechanics, storyboarding, character development, and user experience design.
• Create Personalized Multiplayer Games: In this bootcamp, children will not only learn the theoretical aspects of game design but also get to apply this knowledge practically. They will have the opportunity to create their own personalized multiplayer games, incorporating their unique ideas and creativity. Using kid-friendly game development platforms, they will design, code, and test their games in a supportive and fun environment. By the end of the course, each child will have a playable game to showcase to friends and family.

– Parents can drop off their wards in the morning and pick them up at close of day because there will be a lot of fun games and activities in addition to the coding sessions: Indoor activities such as reading, ludo, jenga, monopoly, UNO card, scrabble, FIFA; Outdoor games such as football, handball, etc.

– The bootcamp is structured to be engaging and interactive, ensuring that children remain motivated and excited throughout the course. The self-paced format allows each child to progress at their own speed, ensuring that they fully grasp each concept before moving on to the next.

– Experienced instructors will provide personalized guidance and support, helping children troubleshoot and improve their projects.

– At the end of the course, each child will receive a certificate of completion, recognizing their hard work and new skills. This certificate can be a great addition to their portfolio, showcasing their ability to learn and apply new technologies.
